Access Burning Permits from the Tenures & Permits Menu.
Prerequisites
- You MUST have BURNING type activity. Set this up in: Configuration - Master List - Activities.
If you have existing SITEPREP activity with a Technique (BU) for Burning that you would like changed to a BURNING type, please send us a message using the Support button.
Burning Permits Grid
- Enter your burning request in the top Grid.
- Reference Number: If the reference number has not been assigned, we suggesting using 'pending 2025' as an example and then fill in with the appropriate number when assigned.
Add Openings to the Permit
1. Use the Select Opening(s) Button
When you select this button, Phoenix will allow you to create a Burning activity on the fly. Select the Name of the BURNING type activity you would like created. Enter a Target Date
2. Manually edit an exitsting Opening Activity
If you already have BURNING activities created on your Openings, edit those activities and assign the Burning number from that page. See image below:
Remove an Opening from a Permit
1. Click the delete (remove) button beside the Opening in the grid. Phoenix will not delete the burning activity. If will just remove the reference to the burning permit.
2. Manually edit the Opening Activity
Select a different burning permit, or delete the burning activity entirely if it does not apply.
