The Opening Summary page is the first tab of the Openings page, and provides a summary of details about the opening.
Top of page: yellow field are calculated and white fields are available for data entry.
Fields where data can be entered on this page:
- Disturbance Completed check box
- Regen Met
- FG Met
- Relieved of Obligation
- Green Up
- Green Up Met
Fields where data is 'read only' on this page:
- File ID:
File ID name for the Opening - Gross:
Gross area of the Opening (entered in Opening - Details) - NAR:
Sum of the areas of all the respective standard units on the Opening. - Forest Cover:
Sum of the areas of all the respective forest covers on the Opening. - Early Harvest Start:
Target date of the earliest DISTURBANCE activity with a DONE or START status on the
Opening. - Regen Due:
Earliest ‘Regen Due’ date among all the Standard Units. The date is displayed in RED if the
Regen Due date has been passed and the ‘Regen met’ date is empty on the Opening. - FG Due:
Earliest ‘FG Due’ date among all the Standard units. The date is displayed in RED if the FG
Due Date has been passed and the ‘FG Met’ date is empty on the Opening.
Add an Opening
Use +Add to add a new Opening.

Find an Opening
Use Find Opening to navigate to another Opening.

Generate OSR (Opening Summary Report)
- Click Generate OSR to open the OSR Report page
- Select the section(s) to be included in the report
- Click Generate to create and download the report
- Click on the Opening menu item to return to the Opening Summary page
Standard Units (SUs)
The Standard Units section provides a read only list grid of information for each Standard Unit in the opening. The hyperlinked SU name in the list is used to open the details page for the respective SU.
Add a Standard Unit
- Click +Add above the Standard Units grid
- Enter the details for the new SU
- Click Submit
Report
- Click Report to download the currently displayed list to an Excel file.
Forest Cover
The Forest Cover section provides a read only list grid of information for each Forest Cover region in the opening. The hyperlinked Stratum name in the list is used to open the details page for the respective Stratum.
Add a Forest Cover
- Click +Add above the Forest Cover grid
- Enter the details for the new Stratum
- Click Submit
Report
- Click Report to download the currently displayed list to an Excel file.
Initialize Forest Cover Ledger
Once an opening is harvested, the Forest Cover Ledger can be initialized.
Note: The ledger can only be initialized when there are no entries in the Forest Cover section for the Opening.
Amendments
The Amendments section provides a read only list grid of information for each Amendment in the opening. The hyperlinked Amendment No. in the list is used to open the details page for the respective amendment.
Add an Amendment
- Click +Add above the Amendments grid
- Enter the details for the new amendment
- Click Submit
Report
- Click Report to download the currently displayed list to an Excel file.
