When the Submit button is selected on an INSPECTION activity with Status = 'Done', Phoenix Connect will try to schedulte the 'next' planned inspection based on the strata assigned to the Inspection Activity.
If a Road Inspection is due every 2 years (stratum has an inspection frequency=2), Phoenix Connect will create a new Planned Road Inspection activity with a target date = the completed date of the 'Done' inspection plus 2 years.
An inspection will 'NOT' be automatically created if:
- a planned inspection for the proposed new target date already exists for that year and Stratum
- the planned inspection does not have a stratum assigned to it
- the stratum assigned to the planned inspection is 'Retired'
- the stratum assigned to the planned inspection is 'Archived
- the inspection frequency on the stratum assigned to the planned inspection is empty
This logic applies to all Strata feature types/Inspections: Bridge, Culvert, Road, Retaining Wall, Cattleguard, Fence, Other.
