The Update from SPAR button is located here: Master List - Sowing Requests. This tool is designed to speed up Request Key data entry; which includes the seedlot and associated area of use details. Export files from the Seed Planning and Registry application (SPAR) and update them in the Sowing Request Master List.
Export Files from SPAR
- Log into the SPAR Application
- Click on the Reports tab - Extracts to locate the files for download
- Apply appropriate filters and save the files to your local machine/network
File 1 - Short Form:
File 2 - Seedlot Extract for CBST
Note: Desired Seedlots must exist in all files in order for data to be uploaded into Phoenix Connect.
Update From Spar
- Click Update from SPAR Button
- Click Get File and Select the SPRX505-SeedlingRequestShortFormExtract file you downloaded from SPAR.
- Click Get File and Select the SPRX503-SeedlotExtractForCBST_AreaOfUse file you downloaded from SPAR
- Click Load Data from SPAR Files
- Uncheck Request Keys that you don’t want to Update (optional)
- Click Update Request Keys
Note: The same on-screen filters need to be set in the ShortFormExtract and CBST Area of Use pages before download
