The Road Master List - Features is where general details on Road, Bridge, Culvert, Cattleguard, Fence, Retaining Wall and Other road features are defined. There can be many features of the same Feature Type but every Feature Name must be unique. Once the list is created, features can be referenced and reused on roads in the system by users with Admin and Full permissions.
This master list is located in the Road Module under the Configuration: Master List - Features tab.
Note: Only Phoenix Connect Admin users can add, edit and delete items in Master Lists.
Add a Feature
- Click the +Add button
- Select a Feature Type from the system generated pick list (required)
- Enter a unique Feature Name (required)
- Enter details (optional)
Note: The data entry fields available will depend on the Feature Type selected. - Click Submit
Edit a Feature
- Click the Edit icon (pencil) for the Feature Name on the list grid
- Update the data
- Click Submit
Tip: Select the Features tab at any time to close the details page and return to the master list of Features. Remember to select Submit first to save any changes!
Delete a Feature
- Click the Trashbin icon for the Feature Name in the list grid
- Click OK
Note: the Delete button will be disabled when a feature has been applied to a road.
Archive a Feature
Archive a Feature to remove it from data entry pick lists.
- Click the Edit icon (pencil) for the Feature Name on the list grid
- Select the Archived option
- Click Submit
Note: To view archived records, select the Show Archived check box in the Features list grid.
