Plans are created in the Opening module. A road can be assigned to an existing Opening Plan from either the Road or Opening module.
For details on assigning roads in the Opening module, see this article: Plan Builder - Identification. Once assigned, users have the option to include road details in a Site Plan during Plan Report Generation.
Assignment of roads in the Road module are managed from the Road - Administration tab.
Add a Road to an Opening Site Plan
- Click Select Opening
- Filter and/or navigate to the desired Opening
- Click Select to assign the Opening
Remove a Road from an Opening Site Plan
- Click Remove
Site Plan Builder
Once a Road has been linked to an Opening, the Site Plan Builder for that Opening is accessible.
- Click Site Plan Builder
Plan headings are managed on separate tabs:
- Identification
- Results, Strategies, Measures (RSM)
- GAR/GWM
- Water Management
- Soil Conservation
- Objectives
- Sign Off
- Documents
Note: The Road Identification grid on the Opening - Plan Builder - Identification page shows the Roads currently assigned to the Site Plan.
Road Site Plan
Where a Road requires its own Site Plan, a pseudo opening and associated Site Plan can be created. The road can then be assigned to that pseudo Opening Site Plan.
Add a Pseudo Opening
In the Opening module, create an Opening using a File ID that is identifiable as a Road. For example, the Road File ID that will be linked to the pseudo Opening Site Plan.
- Select Home
- Select the Opening module icon (Trees)
- Select the Opening menu item
- Click +Add
- Enter the Road File ID (recommended)
- Enter ‘ROAD SITE PLAN’ in the Operating ID field (recommended)
Note: This can be used later with the Find Opening button or when creating an Opening Filter. - Set RESULTS Exempt (recommended)
- Fill in all required fields (blue)
- Click Submit
- Create a pseudo Opening Site Plan
Tip: During Plan Report Generation, Create a New Active Profile called Road Site Plan.
Special Data Fields
SP Completed
If the SP Completed date has been entered on the Opening - Administration page it will be displayed here.
SP Approved
If the SP Approved date has been entered on the Opening - Administration page it will be displayed here.
Find Road
Use the Find Road button to navigate to another Road.
