The Road - Details tab is used to capture identification, tenure, location and general information for a road and is located under the Road menu item.
Road Types
The data captured will depend on the Type of Road selected:
Add a Road
Use this button to add a new road.

Distance (km)
The Distance (km) is read only and = To (km) - From (km)
System Generated Warnings
Defining Segments on a Road, the From (km), To (km) and/or Distance (km) fields will outline in red when:
- RP Segments: To (km) does not equal Road ID: To (km)
- RP Segments: From (km) does not equal Road ID: From (km)
- The sum of RP Segments: Distance (km) does not equal Road ID: Distance (km)
Delete a Road
Use the Delete Road button to permanently remove a road.

Note: There is no undo….all data for the road will be removed from the database.
Find a Road
Use the Find Road button to navigate to another road.
