- You can view government layers in any map tab within Phoenix Connect.
- Enable the layers by expanding the BC Gov Maps Group in the tree view and toggle on the layers you want to view.
- Click on features in the map window to view the associated attribute pop-up information.
- You can export desired layers for display on your Overview & Activity maps.

1. BC RESULTS - Openings
administrative boundaries for areas harvested with silviculture obligations or natural disturbances with intended forest management activities on Crown Land.
2. BC RESULTS - Standard Units
Standards Units for an opening represents desired soil conservation limits and stocking outcomes for the defined net area to be reforested. An opening may have one or more standard units. Standards Units may not overlap.
3. BC RESULTS - Forest Cover Reserves
Spatial representation of a reserve of retention area associated with a silvicultural system.
4. Forest Tenure Cutblocks
Spatial layer that reflects operational activities for cutblocks contained within harvesting authorities.
5. Forest Tenure (Retired/Active Road Permits)
Uniquely identifies all road segments within a road section.
6. Road Atlas
provides partial information about roads in British Columbia.
7. WSA - Stream Routes
Each stream channel is represented by a single line. Derived from the Stream Centreline Network Spatial layer and based on the 1:50,000 scale Canadian National Topographic Series of Maps.

10. Community Watershed
Boundaries (polygons) of areas designated as community watershed by government - that are all or part of the drainage area that is upslope of the lowest point from which water is diverted for human consumption by a licensed waterworks.

The dataset contains approved legal boundaries for wildlife habitat areas and specified areas for species at risk and regionally important wildlife.
12. Ungulate Winter Range - Approved
The dataset contains approved legal boundaries for ungulate winter range and specified areas for ungulate species.
13. OGMA - Legal - Current
contains the most current Legal Old Growth Management Area (OGMA) polygons and excludes any sensitive information.

17. Growth & Yield Plots
This layer is the authoritative source for locating Active Status Growth and Yield plots also known as Permanent Sample Plots (PSPs). These plots are protected and require an additional minimum windfirm buffer of 50m radius in the interior and 100m radius on the coast. These are generally 16m radius fixed area. Therefore, protected areas need to be a minimum of 66m radius around the plot centre in the interior and 116m radius on the coast.

approximate locations of First Nations in British Columbia. Locations are based on the location of the main community, as obtained from Aboriginal Affairs and Northern Development Canada (AANDC).

administrative boundaries (extent) of Canada Lands which includes Indian Reserves. Administrative boundaries were compiled from Legal Surveys Division's cadastral datasets and survey records archived in the Canada Lands Survey Records.
