The Opening Map View can be used to check Spatial linking prior to generating a RESULTS submission.
To access the Opening Map View, Select the Opening - Map tab.
Use the Map Menu icon (3 horizontal lines) on the vertical banner to expand the list of available display options for Opening features and Base Maps. When there is a Positive Spatial Match, you will be able to turn the feature on.
Positive Spatial Match: this occurs when the GID_ID attribute in Phoenix Connect finds a match in the GIS_LINK column of one of the SHAPE files loaded in the Spatial Storage – SHAPE Files.
- Use the radio button to turn on a Base Map
- Checkboxes will be enabled for the opening, standard units, activities, and forest cover strata within the Opening that have a Positive Spatial Match.
- Areas entered in Phoenix Connect and GIS Area are displayed. If areas do not match they will be displayed in red text.
GIS Area: we calculate the area of the SHAPE Files when they are loaded into Spatial Storage.
