The Cutting Permit Map View can be used to check Spatial linking prior to generating an FTA submission.
To access the Map Viewer, Select the Tenure Admin – Cutting Permits - Map View icon (shown below)

Once the Map View window opens, use the Map Menu icon (3 horizontal lines) on the vertical banner to expand the list of available display options.
Positive Spatial Match: this occurs when the GID_ID attribute in Phoenix Connect finds a match in the GIS_LINK column of one of the SHAPE files loaded in the Spatial Storage – SHAPE Files.
- Use the radio button to turn on a Base Map
- Checkboxes will be enabled for openings within the Cutting Permit that have a Positive Spatial Match.
- Areas entered in Phoenix Connect and GIS Area are displayed. If areas do not match they will be displayed in red text.
GIS Area: we calculate the area of the SHAPE Files when they are loaded into Spatial Storage.
