The Road Permit Map Viewer can be used to check Spatial linking prior to generating an RRS submission.
To access the Map Viewer, Select the Tenure Admin – Road Permits - Map View icon.

Once the Map View window opens, use the Map Menu icon (3 horizontal lines) on the vertical banner to expand the list of available display options.
Positive Spatial Match: this occurs when the GID_ID attribute in Phoenix Connect finds a match in the GIS_LINK column of one of the SHAPE files loaded in the Spatial Storage – SHAPE Files.
- Use the radio button to turn on a Base Map
- Checkboxes will be enabled for sections within the Road Permit that have a Positive Spatial Match.
- Section ID, Amendment Type, MoF Start/End are displayed as well as a calculated Length of the Section. If the Start/End distance does not match the Length, they will be displayed in red text.
Length: we calculate the length of the sections when they are loaded into Spatial Storage.
